Ronaldo to extend Real Madrid stay

Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to end speculation over his future by signing a two-year extension at Real Madrid. The 31-year-old's current deal is due to expire in the summer of 2018.

The Portugal international had been linked with a potential move away from the Bernabeu following a rift with club manager Zinedine Zidane.

However, Spanish source El Confidencial claims that talented forward has made up with his head coach and looks set to extend his stay until the summer of 2020.

The news will come as a big blow for Paris Saint-Germain, who had earmarked Ronaldo as a potential replacement for ongoing star Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Ronaldo has amassed over 350 goals for the Bernabeu giants since his transfer from Manchester United in 2009.
