Arsenal in for Mkhitaryan?

Arsenal have joined the pursuit for Borussia Dortmund attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan amid reported interest from league rivals Chelsea.

The Armenia international was close to making a move to the Premier League before he opted to join BVB from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2013.

Mkhitaryan has since been an influential player at the Bundesliga giants, and this has kept up his interest from several English clubs.

According to The Mirror, the Gunners are set to offer stiff competition to the Blues after knowing of the player's desire to join a London-based club next season.

The 27-year-old had been in fine form for the Dortmund outfit this term netting 19 goals and 22 assists in all competitions.
