West Ham join Lacazette chase

West Ham United are the latest club to show interest in Lyon frontman Alexandre Lacazette. The France international had been strongly linked with a move to England last summer before he inked a long-term deal at Les Gones.

The 24-year-old has since kept up his form in the French league and this has ignited interest from the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks.

However, according to The London Evening Standard, the Hammers are also considering an approach for Lacazette after learning of his desire to play for a Premier League outfit.

Slaven Bilic's side have been tipped to bring in fresh recruits ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium next season.

Lacazette has amassed 18 goals in 31 league outings for Lyon this term.
