Chelsea hot on trail on Manolas

Chelsea are keeping close tabs on the progress of Roma defender Kostas Manolas, Italian publication Tuttosport claims.

Incoming Blues boss Antonio Conte is expected to be busy in the transfer markets as he seeks to establish a team of his own for next season.

Manolas has largely impressed during his time at the Giallorossi, and according to Tuttosport, the Greek international could be the subject of a transfer bid from the Blues this summer.

Nevertheless, Roma would be reluctant to cash in on Manolas as they would have to offer a significant percentage of the transfer fee to former club Olympiakos for any future deal.

The Blues are currently 10th in the league standings with 48 points.
