Leicester keeping tabs on Islam Slimani
English champions Leicester City are monitoring the situation of Sporting Lisbon star Islam Slimani ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Foxes boss, Claudio Ranieri is expected to bring in a forward-minded player as he seeks to provide ample support to Jamie Vardy and Leonardo Ulloa next season.
According to The Telegraph, the Premier League holders could lodge a bid for Slimani, who has been in exceptional touch for Sporting this season.
Sporting currently value their player at around £25m but this is unlikely to come as a hindrance for a side that aim to challenge Europe's elite in the Champions League next term.
The Algerian international has amassed 30 goals in 42 outings for the Primeira Liga outfit this season.
