Real Madrid want Cesc Fabregas

Spanish giants Real Madrid are plotting a bid for Chelsea playmaker Cesc Fabregas, who has had a mixed second season at Stamford Bridge.

The 29-year-old linked up with the Blues last summer, and played a crucial part in the club's Premier League triumph.

However, his second year has turned out to be a forgetful one with the Blues mustering their worst ever campaign in the Roman Abramovich era.

According to The Sun, Los Blancos could come up with an approach for the Spain international as they seek to reshuffle their midfield ahead of next season.

It is added that the likes of James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos could be among the long list of players leaving the Bernabeu in the summer.

Despite the speculation, Fabregas is said to be focused on taking the Blues back to their supremacy next season.
