Slaven Bilic hints at Thauvin interest?

West Ham United head coach Slaven Bilic has hinted that he is interested in a move for Newcastle United flop Florian Thauvin. The French winger joined the Magpies from Marseille last summer.
Thauvin. 23, made his switch to Tyneside last year despite strong interest from top English clubs. However, he failed to live to his hype and was subsequently shipped out to former club Marseille on loan for the second half of the campaign.
When asked on the Frenchman's situation, Bilic felt that the player had been poorly portrayed due to his side's dismal run.
"I am convinced that this is a good player," he told French publication L'Equipe. "Same for the French who have signed for Aston Villa. Jordan Ayew and Idrissa Gueye."
"The problem is that they have signed for big clubs who were already in a bad way."
Thauvin has four years left on his current contract at Newcastle United.
