Everton interested in Edin Dzeko

Bosnian international Edin Dzeko could find himself back in the Premier League with Everton keen on acquiring his services.

The 27-year-old joined AS Roma from Manchester City on an initial loan last summer before a clause was triggered to make the move permanent.

A report from Sport.ba says the player will depart the Giallorossi in upcoming the transfer window with manager Luciano Spalletti reluctant to offer him regular gametime next season.

The news is said to have ignited interest from the Toffees, who are on search for a replacement for outgoing Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.

Any move for Dzeko is likely to be put on hold until the club announce the arrival of a new head coach.
