Solano wanted by West Ham

Nolberto Solano is wanted by West Ham. It appears the Hammers have turned their attentions from another Newcastle player, Kieron Dyer, to the Peruvian midfielder who may not have much playing time with the first team under new boss Sam Allardyce.

Towards the end of last season Solano signed a new deal. However West Ham could pay up to £1.5m for the midfielder which could tempt Allardyce into a sale.

West Ham had been chasing Kieron Dyer but the price on the table was not enough for Newcastle to be persuaded to sell the ex-Ipswich star.
