Arsenal leading Sofiane Boufal chase

Arsenal are considered front-runners to sign highly-rated Lille winger Sofiane Boufal this summer. The Gunners have been keeping a close track on the Moroccan over the past year.

A report from Metro claims that the North London outfit will step up their interest in the 22-year-old in the coming weeks after manager Arsene Wenger received a positive report on the player's progress in the season just passed.

Meanwhile, Lille have given up on holding onto their star, and will listen to offers in excess of £19m for his services.

Boufal netted 11 goals and four assists for the French outfit as they finished the 2015/16 league season in eighth with 56 points.
