Chelsea closing in on Juan Jesus

Chelsea are close to sealing a transfer agreement for Inter Milan centre-back Juan Jesus. The Brazilian has been long linked with a move to the Premier League.

FC Inter News says the Blues have made a formal approach for the 25-year-old after it became apparent that top target Antonio Rudiger would be sidelined for the year through injury.

Blues boss Antonio Conte has been keeping a close track on Jesus' developments having previously failed to recruit him in his time at Juventus.

The Nerazzurri are willing to sell their player for £8m this summer, given they have spent over the Financial Fair Play limit in recent years.
