Vidal on Foxes radar

Premier League holders Leicester City have made an attempt to sign Barcelona fullback Aleix Vidal this summer. The Foxes are looking to bolster the spine of their squad with Champions League football on the horizon next season.

Vidal joined the Catalan giants from Sevilla last summer but had to wait until 2016 for his first-team debut due to the club's transfer embargo.

Spanish source Sport says the Foxes have enquired over the availability of the player, whilst former club Sevilla, Roma and AC Milan are also tracking the situation.

However, chances are very less that the Spaniard would leave Camp Nou considering he has the right-back duties to himself following the departure of Dani Alves to Juventus.

The 26-year-old appeared in just 14 games for the La Liga champions last term.
