Chelsea remain favourites to land Kalidou Koulibaly
Chelsea are heading the queue to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. The Senegal international will be on the move this summer after Napoli refused to offer him a fresh contract.
The 25-year-old largely impressed in his second season at Naples as he helped his side to a runners-up place finish in Serie A.
Radio Monte Carlo journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi says the Blues remain in pole position to land the centre-back in the transfer window despite Everton being linked with a late approach.
The Toffees are rumoured to be preparing a £38m offer for Koulibaly with manager Ronald Koeman keen on bolstering his backline ahead of the new campaign.
Meanwhile, London rivals Arsenal have yet to step up their interest in the former Genk man.
Koulibaly featured in 42 games for the Italian outfit last term.
