Pogba set to meet with agent

Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola is flying to Los Angeles to meet the player, sparking speculation that a transfer to Manchester United could soon be completed.

Pogba is currently on holiday in California, USA, and Raiola is flying out to meet with his client.

Over the last couple of days, Manchester United and Juventus have been locked in negotiations over a potentially world record breaking £100 million deal that would see the 23-year-old Frenchman return to Old Trafford.

It was reported yesterday that the only stumbling block remaining in the mega deal was the fee due to Raiola.

Apparently the super agent is entitled to 20 per cent of any transfer fee, and Juventus were reluctant for that figure to be deducted from the sum they received and were putting pressure on United to cover Raiola's cut.

But it seems like this obstacle will be overcome in the coming days and United could seal the biggest transfer in the history of football before next week.

Pogba previously played for the Red Devils but left the club as a teenager in 2012, having grown frustrated at the lack of first team opportunities he was being afforded by Sir Alex Ferguson.

The gifted midfielder joined Juventus and has gone on to win four successive Serie A titles as well as reaching the 2015 Champions League final.
