Riyad Mahrez agrees Arsenal switch

Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez is reportedly closing in on a move to the Emirates. The Algerian has made up his mind for a fresh challenge following N'Golo Kante's recent departure to Chelsea.

The 25-year-old was in prime form for the Foxes during the previous campaign as they went on to lift a historic and an unprecedented league title.

With Kante having parted ways from the King Power Stadium, Mahrez is thought to have signalled his agent to search for a new club.

According to The Sun, Mahrez has highlighted his desire to join the Gunners, and a move could well be finalized in the coming days.

Claudio Ranieri's side are unlikely to come in the way of their star asset this summer as they have sufficient budget to spend on fresh recruits.

Arsenal would have to pay a fee of around £45m for the PFA Player of the Year.
