West Ham reach Carlos Bacca agreement
West Ham United have settled a transfer fee with AC Milan for Colombian striker Carlos Bacca. The 29-year-old will have the final say on the proposed agreement.
The Hammers had initially failed with a £25m approach for the marksman, before they came up with a improved £28m bid.
Bacca is thought to prefer a move to a Champions League club, and will wait on offers from the likes of Arsenal and Atletico Madrid before taking a decision on his future.
The Colombian was ever-present for the Rossoneri last season netting 18 goals in the Italian league. He was recently part of his national side that came third at the centenary edition of the Copa America.
Meanwhile, the Hammers have continued their search for a marquee forward with a deal for Bacca far from certain.
