Lucas Leiva on Galatasaray radar
Lucas Leiva on Galatasaray radar
Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva is likely to join Galatasaray in the current transfer window. The 29-year-old was in-and-out of the starting line-up last term.
The Brazil international is in the final 12 months of his contract, and talks over an extension seem to have stalled.
According to Sky Sport News, Leiva is not on Jurgen Klopp's plans for next season, and this could lure him to Gala before the transfer window closes on August 31.
The midfielder, who is available for a bargain price of £2m, has previously attracted interest from Newcastle United.
Leiva has appeared over 300 times for the Reds since joining from Gremio in 2007. He has also earned 24 caps for his nation with last appearance coming against Zambia three years ago.
