Soon to be World Cup hosts South Africa were held to a 1-1 draw by a strong Angola side.

Manchester United-bound Manucho had a dream Africa Cup of Nations debut.

Manucho scored a superb diving header in the first half to give Angola the lead.

With time running out a brilliant Elrio van Heerden's strike saved South Africa's blushes.

It was fair result as both teams went for the win contributing to an enjoyable match.

The draw now leaves group D with everything to play for.
