Ashley Young up for sale
Ashley Young up for sale
Manchester United are open to offloading Ashley Young amid interest from Crystal Palace. The Eagles have recently failed with a loan approach for the England international.
Young is currently on the fringes of the first-team, and manager Jose Mourinho is willing to listen to offers for his services.
The Guardian reports that the Eagles had placed a loan offer for the winger, but it was swiftly rebuffed by the Mancunian giants.
United have followed to inform Palace that the player would only leave Old Trafford on a permanent deal this summer.
The 31-year-old did not play a part in his side's 3-1 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League opener.
Young has notched 141 appearances for Manchester United since joining from Aston Villa in the summer of 2011. He has two years remaining on his existing contract.
