Wolves target Mario Balotelli
Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers are eyeing a loan swoop for Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli. The Reds have found it hard to offload the Italian due to his hefty wage demands.
According to The Express & Star, the Wolves will make a sensation move for the 26-year-old after holding discussions with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho, who previously coached Balotelli at Inter Milan, has urged the player to drop a division, if he is to resurrect his faltering career.
Wolves will propose to pay around 80 percent of the player's £90,000 weekly wages as they seek to bolster their ranks for a promotion push.
New owner Jeff Shi has shown desire to overhaul his squad this summer recruiting the likes of Joao Teixeira, Helder Costa and Prince Oniangue.
