Chelsea's Atsu to join Newcastle United

Newcastle United are expected to announce the arrival of Ghanaian forward Christian Atsu on an initial loan deal. The 24-year-old has failed to make a mark at Chelsea since joining from Porto in 2013.
Atsu has had to contend with loan spells away from Stamford Bridge in recent seasons, and he is now set for a new challenge in the Championship with the Magpies.
Rafael Benitez's side will have the option to securing the player on a permanent basis, should he impress in his loan contract.
Atsu, who has earned 42 caps for Ghana, will become the Magpies' 12th signing of the transfer window as they seek an immediate return to the top flight.
Newcastle United may have a couple of more signings on their radar with West Bromwich Albion's Callum McManaman being latest to be approached for.
