Gabriel Barbosa joins Inter Milan

Reported Manchester United and Chelsea target Gabriel Barbosa has secured a move to Inter Milan from Santos. The 20-year-old has penned a five-year contract with the San Siro outfit.

Gabigol, as he is famously known in Brazil for his goalscoring abilities, has been strongly linked with a Premier League move this summer with Chelsea, Manchester United and Leicester City all vying for his services.

However, the youngster has decided to pursue his career with the Nerazzuri after he was given assurances of regular first-team football during the ongoing campaign.

The forward netted 56 goals in 153 outings for Santos following his promotion to the senior squad. He was recently part of the Brazilian side that won their first ever Olympic gold in Rio.

Inter Milan have paid a fee of around £22m for Gabigol, whose play is often compared to former Santos graduate Neymar - presently at Barcelona.
