Liverpool prepare to commit Adam Lallana to a long-term deal
Liverpool will began negotiations over an improved contract with Adam Lallana following his excellent start to the Premier League campaign. The England international has impressed for club and country over the past month.
Lallana, 28, has become a key player under Jurgen Klopp's leadership this season, and this has urged the club's hierarchy to open up talks over a possible extension.
During his previous years at Anfield, the midfielder was well known for his dangling runs into the box, but the lack of an end product seemed to frustrate many of the Reds' faithful.
This is something that he has worked under Klopp, and he is quite rightfully the 'go to man', should Philippe Coutinho fail to pull the strings in midfield.
Lallana, who has three years left on his previous deal, has appeared in nearly 100 games for Liverpool since arriving from Southampton in 2014.
