Juventus approach for Santi Cazorla

Juventus have made contact with the representatives of Santi Cazorla, whose contract is due to expire at the end of the season. The Spain international has been with Arsenal since the summer of 2012.

Cazorla is free to sign a pre-contract with a club overseas in the New Year, and this has alerted the Serie A holders.

CalcioMercato says the player has already held initial negotiations with the Old Lady and he could be on the move next season, should he fail to earn an extension at the Emirates.

The 31-year-old has previously stated that he is content with life in the English capital, and he is hopeful of committing his future to the Gunners

Cazorla, who missed a major chunk of last season through injury, has been one of the stand-out performers for Arsenal this term. He has amassed 29 goals in 177 outings for his side till date.
