Inter Milan to bid for Hector

Serie A giants Inter Milan are lining up a winter offer for FC Koln full-back Jonas Hector. The German international has spent his entire career with the Bundesliga outfit.

Hector, 26, was the subject of speculation in the summer transfer window with Liverpool being among the key contenders for his signature.

German daily Express says the Nerazzurri could lodge a January bid for the full-back with the club in need of sufficient strengthening at the back.

The San Siro outfit are willing to part with a £25m sum for the left sided defender, who has nailed down a regular berth in the German national side.

He has already earned 24 caps for Joachim Loew's side despite only making his debut against Australia in March last year.

Manchester United's Matteo Darmian and Benfica's Victor Nilsson Lindelof have also been linked with moves to the Milan-based club.
