Liverpool to push for Sakho exit in January
Liverpool are desperate to see the exit of Mamadou Sakho in the January transfer window. The France international has not featured for Jurgen Klopp's side this season.
Sakho, 26, has fallen out-of-favour at Anfield this term with his poor behaviour in pre-season being the key cause of his downfall.
According to Squawka, the Reds are prepared to pay about half of the player's £100,000 weekly wages with a loan exit being a probability in the New Year.
The centre-half was the subject of interest from Stoke City in the summer, and it is expected that the Potters will revive their pursuit for his services in 2017.
Italian giants AS Roma have also been linked with the former PSG star whilst a host of Ligue 1 clubs are monitoring his situation.
Sakho last featured in a league game for Liverpool in April this year where they went on to beat Bournemouth by a 2-1 scoreline.
