James McCarthy wanted by Crystal Palace
Everton midfielder James McCarthy could be the subject of interest in the January transfer window after Alan Pardew hinted to reporters that he could make a move for the player. McCarthy has been linked with a move south in a deal worth around 8.8m.
The 26-year-old Glasgow-born Republic of Ireland international has been with Everton since 2013 and has almost chalked up his 100th game for the Toffees. Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has long been a fan of the player, sending scouts to monitor his progress for the last 6 months and also making a reported bid for the player during the summer.
The 5 foot 11 midfielder has also caught the eye of Premier League giants Arsenal and Tottenham, with both actively tracking the player's transfer situation.
