Roma to propose exchange deal for Fabregas

Roma are prepared to sign Chelsea midfielder Fabregas on a permanent deal which could see one Antonio Rudiger or Radja Nainggolan move to Stamford Bridge.

The Giallorossi have earmarked the Spaniard as their top target, and are ready to test the Blues' resolve in the January transfer window.

According to The Mirror, the Serie A side are willing to offer one of Rudiger or Nainggolan in a proposed move for Fabregas.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is said to have a keen admiration for the Roma duo, and this could urge his side to do business with the Italian club in the New Year,

Fabregas has been linked with a whole host of clubs this season, despite Conte recently iterating that the player is not for sale.

The World Cup winner has appeared over 100 times for the Premier League leaders since arriving from Barcelona for £28m in 2014.
