Cavani open to future Premier League move
Cavani open to future Premier League move
Paris Saint-Germain Edinson Cavani has not ruled out a future move to the English Premier League. The Uruguay international is expected to ink terms over a long-term deal at Parc des Princes.
Cavani, 29, has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea over the years and the striker believes he would relish a fresh challenge in the future.
According to The Sun, the former Napoli man will extend his stay at Les Parisiens until the summer of 2020, but this does not end his ambition of playing in England.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been a success story at Old Trafford despite arriving at the age of 34, and Cavani could take a similar step in the coming years, should Les Parisiens recruit a new marksman with world-class potential.
Cavani has been splendid in the centre-forward position this season, netting 24 goals in as many outings for Paris Saint-Germain.
