Guedioura is heading for Hull City

Watford have accepted an offer of £3 million from Hull City for Algerian midfielder Adlene Guedioura.

The 31 year old has found it difficult to establish himself in the Hornets side so far this season, having started only nine games. This move will give him an opportunity to get first team football in the Premier League, in a Hull City side that faces a difficult task staying in the league.

Guedioura will be the latest signing for the Tigers, after acquiring Oumar Niasse and Lazar Markovic, whilst Jake Livermore and Robert Snodgrass have gone in the opposite direction.

Guedioura's last appearance for Watford was in their 1-0 FA Cup fourth round defeat to League One team Millwall. He joined permanently in 2015, after a successful loan spell the previous season. The midfielder was first seen in the English leagues with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2010, followed by spells with Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

Going in to February, Hull City sit in 19th place in the English Premier league, just two points from safety, with sixteen games left to play. The Tigers will hope that their new signings can help to reinvigorate the team, who have won just one of their last ten games in the league.
