Tshibola Heads To The City Ground
Aston Villa youngster Aaron Tshibola has been loaned out to Nottingham Forest in a deal that will see him move from West to East Midlands until the end of the season.
22 year old Tshibola was only signed from Reading in the summer, however the midfielder has found it difficult to break into the Villa side since Steve Bruce was installed as manager of the Championship club.
Aston Villa have recently signed Henri Lansbury, Conor Hourihane and Birkir Bjarnason, all of whom are midfielders, effectively pushing Tshibola further down the pecking order at Villa Park. The deal will suit both teams as struggling Nottingham Forest can bolster their side, whilst Aston Villa are able to see their player develop.
Nottingham Forest sit five points above the relegation zone in the English Championship, although some teams below have a game in hand. It is an uncertain time at the City Ground, as the struggles in the league are combined with the search for a new permanent manager, the loss of captain Henri Lansbury and fan protests about the running of the club. This move is a positive sign for the Reds however, with reports suggesting that there will be more signings before deadline day, including interest in West Ham defender Reece Oxford.
