Ian Rush backs 'gifted' Daniel Sturridge

Liverpool legend Ian Rush believes Daniel Sturridge still has a 'major part' to play in the club's league campaign as they push for the Champions League places.
The Reds have failed to win a single league game since the turn of the year, and this has seen drop from the top four for the first time in many months.
Meanwhile, Sturridge has not been able to produce the goods through the campaign, scoring just twice in the top flight, but the club's all-time scorer insists that the striker is just a goal or two away from regaining his old touch.
"Daniel Sturridge is probably the most gifted striker we have got," he said.
"I think he will fight for his place. One thing for certain this year is that we will need Daniel Sturridge and once he gets that chance he has to take it.
"And when he does take it and starts scoring again I think he'll play a major part in Liverpool making the top four."
The England international has had a series of injuries since his brilliant spell during the 2013-14 season, and he will seek put things right in the coming months if he is to secure his Reds future for next season.
Liverpool face a tough test against Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend, and nothing less than a win will do if they to stay close to the top four.
