Isco an 'important player' for Real - Zidane

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has identified Isco as a key player for his side despite the ongoing speculation over his future. The Spain international is said to be on the radar of London duo Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Isco, still 24, joined the European champions from Malaga in the summer of 2013 and has since appeared in 171 outings for the club in all competitions.
A host of Premier League clubs have been linked with the Spanish playmaker whilst Barcelona are also understood to be lining up a shock swoop for his services.
While speaking to reporters, Zidane affirmed that Isco remains an 'important player' for the Champions League holders regardless of the length of his current contract.
"The club and the player will decide on his future," he told reporters. "He's an important player for us, he works hard and he's crucial. He's a player I'm very fond of."
Isco, who has less than 18 months left on his existing deal, has made just nine league starts for Real Madrid in what has been a mixed campaign by his standards.
