PSG will move for Alexis Sanchez on one condition

French champions Paris Saint-Germain will step up their interest in Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez, provided they manage to offload Angel di Maria in the summer transfer window.

Les Parisiens had accepted a Chinese Super League offer for Di Maria earlier in January only to see the player himself knock back advances from the unnamed club.

The Argentine has since then impressed in the Les Parisiens shirt with a Champions League brace against Barcelona being a stand-out moment, but this has not eliminated Unai Emery's desire to offload the attacker.

According to The Independent, the Ligue 1 holders are indeed interested in a move for the Gunners contract rebel, but a deal could be dependent on Di Maria leaving the club.

Sanchez has been reluctant to extend his terms beyond next season at the Emirates, and Paris Saint-Germain could lure him on a package which would make him one of the highest-paid players in the world.

The Chilean is Arsenal's top goalscorer and creator this term with 20 goals and 14 assists across all competitions.
