Keita to stay put at Leipzig - Rangnick

RB Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick has played down suggestions that midfielder Naby Keita will leave for Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window. The Guinea international is also a transfer target for Liverpool.

Keita, 22, has turned heads with his exceptional showing in the Bundesliga this season, and this has already led to comparison with Chelsea's N'Golo Kante.

German champions Bayern Munich are well known to lure top talents from their rival clubs, but Leipzig's Rangnick insists that the player is not for sale this summer.

"I don't know anything about Bayern interest. Naby's an extraordinary player who could play in any European top team," he told Sport1 Doppelpass .

Keita had inked a fresh four-year contract prior to the start of the season, and Rangnick goes on to admit that the player has 'no release clause in his contract'.

The midfielder is currently under observation in hospital after he collapsed following Leipzig's 1-0 defeat to Wolfsburg due to a circulation problem.
