West Ham eye move for Serie A striker
West Ham United have set their sights on signing Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic at the end of the current campaign.
The Croatian international has adapted well to the three-man attack in Turin this season, and he is still frustrated at not being able to lead the line.
According to The Sun, Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has set his sights on signing Mandzukic with whom he held a fruitful relationship while working with the Croatian team.
The east London club failed in their quest to find a marquee striker last summer with loan signings Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri failing to meet their expectations - the former who has moved on to Valencia with success.
West Ham United are still said to be assessing the future of Andy Carroll, and they could be tempted to offload him to the Chinese Super League for a significant transfer fee in the summer.
Slaven Bilic's men are currently 11th in the league standings with 33 points.
