Arsenal keeping tabs on Turkish midfielder

Premier League giants Arsenal are one of the many clubs keeping a watch on Stuttgart midfielder Berkay Ozcan, according to his agent.

The Turkey Under-21 international has been in impressive touch for German club Stuttgart, who are currently leading the Bundesliga second division.

Gunners scout Jurgen Kost had confirmed earlier last week that he had been watching a Turkey midfielder in the German league, and it appears that Berkay is the player on his radar.

Berkay has already established himself as a regular in his country's youth setup, and his agent Baris Yukselsen confirms that the Gunners are indeed interested in his client.

"Many top clubs are interested in Berkay," Yukselsen told Football.London. "Arsenal have Berkay on their list, but at the moment he is focusing on Stuttgart's resurgence."

Arsenal are on the search for a potential successor to Santi Cazorla next season, and Ozcan, for now, remains the perfect fit to take up a role in central midfield.

Ozcan has notched four goals and three assists for Stuttgart since his breakthrough under Hannes Wolf this season.
