Arsene Wenger to pen one-year contract?
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has reportedly been offered a one-year contract in order to prove himself at the Emirates.
The Frenchman has been the subject of immense criticism from the fans in recent weeks and the latest 3-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion has angered the faithful even more.
According to The Express, the 67-year-old could face the wrath of a section of the fans as he is all set to extend his contract by a further year.
Wenger was posed a question over his future yesterday for which he insisted that he will come up with a conclusion in the next couple of days.
However, it now appears that the club's hierarchy have handed a one-year extension to the head coach as they still believe he is the right man to take the club forward.
Arsenal suffered their worst-ever streak under the Wenger reign after having lost four of the previous five outings in the Premier League.
