Marseille looking to lure Riyad Mahrez
French club Marseille will seek to secure the services of Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez when the transfer reopens in the summer.
The Algeria international played a crucial role in the Foxes league triumph last term as his 17 goals guided the club to a maiden English crown.
However, he has largely struggled to replicate a similar performance during the ongoing campaign, and this has, in turn, had an effect on the club's league form.
The Foxes look set to miss on European qualification for next season, and according to The Mirror, the 26-year-old will push for a potential exit away from East Midlands this summer.
Marseille owner Franck McCourt had recruited the likes of Patrice Evra and Dimitri Payet during the winter period, and he is prepared to step up the pursuit of bigger targets prior to the end of the season.
Mahrez, who was previously a transfer target for Arsenal, has three years left on his existing deal, which he inked in August 2016.
