Everton place hefty price tag on Ross Barkley
Everton will reportedly demand a sum of around £50m if they are to part ways with contract rebel Ross Barkley in the summer.
The England international has been reluctant to ink fresh terms at Goodison Park despite approaching the final year of his Toffees deal.
According to The Telegraph, the midfielder will not come on the cheap this summer with the Toffees prepared to play hardball in negotiations with their suitors.
London trio Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all in the pursuit of the player with the Gunners in particular said to hold an advantage.
Barkley was a surprise candidate in Everton's official kit launch for the 2017/18 season, and this has given a hint that he may stay - should the Toffees fail to receive a hefty sum for his signature.
The Three Lions midfielder has contributed five goals and eight assists in the Premier League for Everton, who are guaranteed a place in Europe next season.
