Ross Barkley on the move
Ross Barkley on the move
Everton will reportedly listen to offers for star midfielder Ross Barkley after he refused to negotiate contractual terms in the deadline provided.
The England international has been in a contract standoff with the Toffees over the past few months, and manager Ronald Koeman recently admitted that the player could leave, should he fail to hold discussions before the end of the season.
According to The Mirror, both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring the developments of Barkley, who came on as an early substitute in the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal last weekend.
Barkley enjoyed a good season with the Merseyside outfit with five goals and eight assists to his name in the top flight, but he is nevertheless eyeing a bigger challenge in order to push for a start with the national team.
The 23-year-old has surprisingly failed to come onto the pitch for the Three Lions despite being picked in the squad for their last seven outings.
