Rashford to be rewarded for his efforts this season

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is set to earn a £10,000-a-week increase on his current wages as part of his contract agreement.

The England international has struggled to make himself a regular at the start of the season, but he has since managed to win over Jose Mourinho.

Rashford has handled the goalscoring burden in recent weeks following a season-ending injury to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and according to The Sun, he is on course to receive a wage rise.

"He is set to get the boost after a solid season, the young lad has made some real progress," a United source told The Sun.

"He's found goals hard to come by but has been told clearly he will continue to rise up the wage ladder here."

The 19-year-old is currently on a £20,000 weekly package at Old Trafford and he will earn a 50 percent increase on his salary at the end of the season.

Rashford netted key goals during the Europa League games against Anderlecht and Celta Vigo respectively, and he will be hoping to put in a strong performance against Ajax in the final to guide his side to the Champions League next season.
