Manchester United take on Ajax in Stockholm for the Europa League trophy

The Europa League is a rare piece of silverware that is missing from Manchester United's trophy cabinet, and they will look to change that against Ajax in Wednesday's final. In what has been a tragic week for the city, victory would at least provide a slight uplift for all of the people that have pulled together in their time of need.

Manchester United know that they must win in Stockholm if they are to play in next season's Champions League. Their team has a much higher value than that of Ajax, and Jose Mourinho will be hoping his star players live up to their price tags in tonight's match.

Ajax are famous for producing great talent and giving them an opportunity on the big stage. That is very much the case again this season, and their youngsters will be desperate to take the trophy back to Amsterdam.

Here are the lineups for the 2017 Europa League final:

Manchester United: Romero, Valencia, Smalling, Blind, Darmian, Herrera, Fellaini, Pogba, Mata, Mkhitaryan, Rashford

Substitutes: De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Jones, Carrick, Lingard, Martial, Rooney

Ajax: Onana, Veltman, Riedewald, Sanchez, Traore, Klaasen, Younes, Schone, Ziyech, Dolberg, De Ligt

Substitutes: Boer, Tete, Westermann, De Jong, Van der Beek, Kluivert, Neres
