Arsenal to sell Ospina to Fenerbahce
Arsenal have reportedly agreed on a £3m sum with Fenerbahce for the sale of second-choice goalkeeper David Ospina. The 28-year-old is currently on international duty with Colombia.
Ospina barely got a run-in in the Premier League last season with Petr Cech being preferred to feature between the sticks under Arsene Wenger.
In spite of this, the Colombian earned his opportunities in the Cup and European champions, and he was a surprise starter in the FA Cup final against Chelsea, which the Gunners won by a 2-1 scoreline.
Turkish outlet Fanatik claims that Fener have settled on a £3m fee for the goalkeeper's transfer, and the deal will be finalised in the coming weeks.
Ospina is due to face Cameroon in an international friendly next week after which he will arrive at the Emirates to seal a ticket to Istanbul on June 17.
Poland international Wojciech Szczesny is likely to play deputy to Petr Cech for the new season after having impressed for AS Roma during his two-year loan stint in the Serie A.
