Arsenal in talks to sign £10m Russian midfielder
Arsenal are reportedly nearing an agreement to sign highly-rated CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin, a report from Sky Sports News, via Sports.ru claims.
The 21-year-old is already a regular for the Russian national side having featured in the team which suffered a group stage exit at Euro 2016.
Sky Sports News claims that the Gunners are close to sealing a £10m move for the central midfielder before loaning him out to CSKA for the upcoming season.
Recently-relegated Hull City also remained a suitable option for the Russia international with former boss Leonid Slutsky keen on a reunion at the KCOM Stadium.
Golovin made his mark with CSKA during the 2016/17 season where he notched three goals and as many assists in 31 outings for the club.
He also has the additional potential to feature on the left side of the attack, and he could prove to be a valuable addition to the north London club in the future.
Golovin has bagged two goals in 12 appearances for Russia with his debut coming against Belarus in 2015.
