Inter Milan plot January move for Chelsea centre-back
Inter Milan are reportedly planning a winter approach to sign Chelsea centre-back Andreas Christensen. The Denmark international returned to his parent club in the summer following two seasons on loan with Borussia Monchengladbach.
Christensen, 21, has played a regular bench role for the Blues in the Premier League this term, but he has managed to start three of their four Champions League outings.
According to Calciomercato, the defender's showing has impressed the Nerazzurri hierarchy, who are weighing up a winter approach for his signature.
Luciano Spaletti's side were previously keen on Arsenal's Shkodran Mustafi during the summer transfer window, but the move could not materialise as they fell short of the Gunners' £35m valuation.
The Nerazzurri have made a strong start to their Serie A campaign, and they are currently only behind leaders Napoli, who have accumulated 31 points from the first 11 matches.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are nine points behind table-toppers Manchester City in the Premier League, and they face a potentially must-win game versus Manchester United this weekend.
