Arsenal lining up Petr Cech replacement?
Arsenal could make a shock attempt to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen at the end of the current campaign.
The 25-year-old has become the first-choice shot-stopper with the Catalan giants ever since Claudio Bravo's departure to Manchester City last year.
According to Don Balon, the Gunners could make a surprise move for the Germany international next summer with Petr Cech no longer at his prime.
Ter Stegen recently produced a stunning performance in the 2-0 triumph over Athletic Bilbao, and he was later praised by Sergio Busquets, who was pleased with the German's match-winning impact.
The former Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper has also become a regular with the Germany national side who have missed the services of Manuel Neuer due to a niggling foot problem.
Ter Stegen is currently contracted to the La Liga leaders until the summer of 2021, and it would come as a huge surprise if Arsenal manage to lure the German away from Camp Nou in eight months' time.
