Fulham chase Hyypia

Fulham are preparing a shock move for Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia. The Finnish defender has fallen behind the pecking order at the Reds and is keen to find first-team football elsewhere.

Fulham are keen to sign the defender in the summer to assess whether or not they can afford to bring in Hyypia - with an enormous £40,000 per week pay packet - if they are in the Championship.

Fulham are second from bottom and Roy Hodgson is keen to add the defender to his squad to help bolster his defensive line.
