Preview: Man City vs Everton

Man City and Everton have both proved to be serious challengers for Champions League qualification this season, and this match at the City of Manchester Stadium is sure to be a brilliant battle as Everton lie third in the form table.

Overview

Moyes may recall Yakubu to his starting line-up after dropping the Nigeria international. The Toffees have struggled for goals themselves in recent weeks but three goals against Brann in midweek from Yakubu could spark Everton back into life.

Injuries and Suspensions

Nery Castillo has returned to training for City, Valeri Bojinov and Michael Johnson also came through a recent reserve team game unscathed as they continue their recoveries from injury.

Joseph Yobo will return for Everton after being rested.

Moyes talks about Dunne

"He's been outstanding for Manchester City. I watched him against Manchester United a couple of weeks ago and he was fantastic.

"Hopefully nowadays that sort of player wouldn't be allowed to leave Everton.

"It's taken him a little bit of time to mature and become the player he is but he's a good captain, a good leader and a very good player too."
