Griezmann dismisses exit speculation

Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has dismissed suggestions that he has already agreed on a deal to join Barcelona during the summer. Manchester United have previously been tipped to pursue the Frenchman's signature.

Griezmann's future has come under question over the past few weeks with Sport suggesting that the France international has already agreed terms with the Catalan giants.

However, in an interview with Telefoot, the 27-year-old has rebuffed the claim whilst stressing that he has no knowhow about the alleged interest from the Blaugrana.

"I don't know where that information comes from, but I don't know anything about it, so for now there is nothing. [These reports] are false," he is quoted as saying by the French outlet.

Griezmann has been consistency in the goals for Atleti in recent weeks, and he netted his 25th goal of the campaign on Sunday as his side settled for a 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in the cross-town derby.

The Frenchman will now be in action for Atletico Madrid in the Europa League quarter-final on Thursday night where they face-off against Sporting Lisbon on the road. Atleti have a 2-0 advantage from the first-leg of the tie.
